Our HR organisation is evolving, and we are looking for the person who will become its operational reference across our three companies. You will join a Finance & HR department of five, working closely with the Head of Finance & HR.

You are joining at a pivotal moment: projects under way, processes to review and consolidate, and a scope set to broaden. There is genuine structuring work here, not just maintaining what exists.

Deliver the full range of HR operations for the group (payroll, employment law, HR administration, recruitment), be a dependable point of support for our people, and take on our two priority challenges: attracting technical profiles in a tight market, and keeping them.

Key responsibilities

Payroll & HR administration

Run the monthly payroll cycle with our social secretariat (preparation, checks, closing, reporting), manage contracts, personnel files and absences, administer the benefits package, and ensure the reliability of our HR data and indicators.

Employment law & compliance

Act as the group’s reference on Belgian employment and payroll legislation, translate legal and sector developments into workable internal policies, and maintain the work rules, HR policies and procedures.

Recruitment, employer branding & retention

Coordinate the recruitment of technical and corporate profiles together with the hiring managers (sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, follow-up), own onboarding and integration, build our relationships with universities and colleges (contacts, student presentations, career fairs and job days), keep our employer presence alive (job site, LinkedIn, employee testimonials), and drive our retention agenda.

Contribute to internal life and team cohesion, in support of our internal committees (events, well-being initiatives).

Advice & HR projects

Be a trusted and discreet point of contact for employees and managers across the three companies, support and advise them, run the annual HR cycles (development reviews, salary review, training follow-up), and take HR projects from design through to roll-out (e.g. the mobility budget).

Job requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, law or business — or equivalent experience — with at least 5 years in a generalist HR role, ideally in an SME and/or a technical environment.
  • Solid, practical command of Belgian employment law and payroll mechanics; used to working hand in hand with a social secretariat (Partena, in our case); at ease with HR tools and HR data.
  • Hands-on recruitment experience is a strong asset.
  • Autonomous, pragmatic and rigorous: you see your files through to the end, with real attention to detail.
  • Discreet, a good listener and healthily assertive: able to challenge, propose and convince — including upwards.
  • Comfortable representing the company externally: school presentations, student fairs.

Languages :

  • Fluent French and professional English are essential; Dutch is an asset.

What We Offer

  • A permanent contract and an attractive salary package in line with your experience: company car, meal vouchers, eco-cheques, insurance plans and a bike lease scheme.
  • 30 days of leave plus public holidays, salary paid over 13.92 months, remote working and access to training.
  • Real breadth of scope: three legal entities, the full HR spectrum, and the autonomy to run it your way.
  • A dynamic, inclusive and people-first culture, with plenty of team events driven by our internal committees.

Why Join DELTATEC?

We develop technologies that end up in space missions, in operating theatres, in industrial vision systems and in broadcast productions watched around the world. Behind all that, our teams in Liège — mostly engineers — who need HR support that is precise, fast and human.

Big enough to have real HR challenges, small enough that nobody will hand you a ready-made procedure: your files will be yours, and the effect of your work will show within weeks.
